The Aquitaine kitchen tap blends time-honoured French styling with the modern convenience of single lever control. Beautiful and functional, the Aquitaine can also be installed with the handle on the left for left-handed cooks. The top of the lever features a Red & Blue dot to indicate hot or cold direction. The metal lever insert on the Aquitaine can be changed to black or white porcelain if desired. All Perrin & Rowe taps feature excellent quarter-turn German made ceramic disc valves for many years of accurate and effortless use. All Perrin & Rowe kitchen sink tap spouts rotate 360°. Perrin & Rowe's spray rinse kitchen taps are popular and highly functional, making light work of washing dishes, rinsing vegetables, and filling pots and vases. The durable 1.2m hose offers virtually unrestricted use. The patented spray rinse is operated using a sophisticated diverter mechanism. Turn on the tap, then press the button on the spray rinse to divert the flow to the rinse. Water will cease to flow from the spout of the tap when the spray button is released. Please note that the spray rinse is an integral part of each spray rinse tap and cannot be added later to a standard kitchen tap. About Lead Free Tapware: This model is manufactured to the new New Zealand Lead Free WaterMark certification, where all tapware used for drinking water has to meet strict low-lead requirements. The New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) give the transition period end date of 1 May 2026 as the date after which only certified lead free product can be installed. This certification confirms that copper alloy components in kitchen and basin tapware contain no more than 0.25% lead by weighted average across all wetted surfaces, aligning New Zealand regulations with international best practice. Historically, tapware sold in New Zealand - particularly for KITCHEN and BASIN use - has been manufactured using Dezincification-Resistant (DZR) brass, which typically contains between 1.5% and 2.5% lead. BEFORE YOU ORDER THIS MODEL: This model does not suit incoming water pressure lower than 100kPa or higher than 500kPa. This model requires a minimum inlet water pressure of 100kPa to ensure complete diversion from the tap to the spray rinse. The chrome stop cocks supplied with this tap contain gauze filters. Please ensure your plumber is advised of minimum & maximum water pressure and to install the stop cocks as not doing so invalidates the taps warranty. Call our sales team for assistance.
