SHOWROOM SALES CONSULTANT

An opportunity has arisen for a talented person to join the sales team in our Auckland showroom and become part of a vibrant, interior design based business. 

This is a full-time position.   

Key tasks of the role include

  • Meet and greet in the showroom
  • Manage email and telephone inquiries
  • Guide clients through the product selection process
  • Prepare quotations and manage sales through to delivery
  • Develop and manage lasting relationships with our clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service

The successful candidate will

  • Be part of a dynamic showroom team and directly responsible to the Showroom Manager
  • Show confidence working in a consultative sales role with high end retail clients, architects and interior designers
  • Have an appreciation for the requirements of working with a luxury brand, reflected in the quality of their personal presentation and manner
  • Preferably have experience working with the design community

STORE-PERSON

In Residence is a market leader in the import and sale of premium quality hardware, tapware and bathroom fixtures and fittings.  We are a dynamic, growing company with an established presence in the design community. 

We are seeking an experienced person to work as part of our showroom team.  This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated person seeking to be part of a high-end, design based business.

The key objective of the role is to ensure inwards and outwards goods are received, quality checked, stored and dispatched in an accurate, effective and efficient manner. 

Your duties would include:

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods
  • Receipt of inwards goods
  • Quality checking of inwards goods
  • Preparing paperwork and the pick, pack and dispatch of outwards orders
  • Preparing consignments for client collection and making some local deliveries
  • Monitoring inventory accuracy through regular stock takes 
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept very clean and tidy
  • Other warehousing and logistics duties as required
