A Victorian Era Beach House Renovation

Deanne Jolly catapults this Victorian style home into the 21st century with complete aplomb, creating an elegant sophistication while maintaining a traditional feel throughout.

In this clever renovation Deanne Jolly, winner of The Block Australia, has refreshed her Victorian-era beach house to create a home with a wonderfully relaxed vibe.

The kitchen was moved to celebrate the truly beautiful sash windows which connect the heart of the home to the garden.  A statement Ionian tap in satin brass and Acquello butler’s sink are perfectly situated to create a daydreamer’s kitchen.

Shaker-style cabinetry, charming pine floors and vintage accessories work together to complete a warm and welcoming space.

The 40-year-old bathroom was catapulted into the 21st century while retaining a traditional tone. A feature claw foot bath is softly draped in romantic shower curtains while Perrin & Rowe brass taps and shower fittings, highlighted by stunning herringbone tiles, age gracefully in the coastal air.

Everything in balance, the spacious vanity sits opposite a generous Hawthorn Hill towel warmer which offers ample drying of family towels. This bathroom invites you in for a luxurious bathing experience.

Working closely with our sister showroom in Melbourne, Deanne has created a beautiful retreat for family and friends that will remain timeless for years to come.
