The product is hand sateened to give a brushed satin finish before it is shot blasted to give the metal the desired surface finish. A highly durable matt black lacquer is then applied which is baked in their ovens to ensure the lacquer cures to offer lasting protection. Baking the lacquer ensures that a harder and more durable layer will protect the finish from day to day usage and oxidisation.
