DESCRIPTION: Polished copper is a plated finish that is applied to our solid brass products, copper plating entails using electricity to apply a very thin layer of copper and then carefully hand polishing to achieve this bright and shiny finish. Copper is sometimes favoured because of its antimicrobial properties.
OVER TIME: Copper is a living finish that will oxidise and age very quickly, turning into a darker colour that will give way to a more greener patina over time.
APPLICATION: We recommend that this finish is used in internal areas. It can be used externally, although will patinate much faster.
MAINTENANCE: Copper finishes can be cleaned with a soft lint free cloth and warm soapy water.
