The highly skilled Armac Martin finishers in the UK take the raw brass component and hand sateen the product to give a brushed finish. The product is then placed into barrelling machines full of cones to achieve a slightly roughened look to the product. Finally a dull nickel plate is applied to the product. Nickel finishes are less durable than chrome and as a result Nickel is classed as a living finish which will oxidise over time.
CARE & MAINTENANCE: To help maintain and preserve the finish it is recommended that the finish is occasionally cleaned using a quality non-abrasive metal polish such as Autosol Metal Polish Liquid.
