Joseph Giles - Solid brass surface bolt

This solid brass surface bolt can be fitted vertically or horizontally onto the face of a door or window. It is normally used to secure the slave leaf of a double door set, enabling the main leaf to latch or lock into it. The bolt is then thrown and retracted by operating the knob. We recommend that two bolts are fitted per leaf; one at the top of the door and one at the bottom.

• Two receiver plates; a flat and a raised version for different types of frame details
• Countersunk and raised slotted screws 4x25mm and 3.5x16mm for the flat receiver plate
