Sydney stylist Jackie Brown recently styled a project for Real Living magazine using our beautiful Perrin & Rowe Art Deco pedestal basin and toilet. Modern artwork and styling allows you to freshen up your classical bathroom for the new season. In this project, Jackie has used washi tape to mount pictures and cards. You can do this at home too, with artwork or photographs.
To spruce up your bathroom, Jackie says you can’t go wrong with greenery as this always refreshes a bathroom. She says that new lavish towels make a huge difference, and that it's a good idea to invest in some beautiful pump soaps and hand lotions, candles and scents.
Jackie recommends to residential clients her regular ‘styling product suppliers’ who make or stock beautiful quality products that not only look great when photographed, but are ‘made to go the distance’.
For those looking to renovate beyond 2016, Jackie predicts that in the bathroom natural stone and materials will continue to be strong - our love of marble, terrazzo and terracotta will grow and be nurtured. Muted or aged tapware will continue to be popular and we will start to see people be a bit more playful with lighting fixtures in the bathroom.
