Every corner of this property tells a story. The brief was to restore this heritage-listed Georgian into a comfortable family home, ripping out the lino and installing modern amenities, whilst honouring the visible scars of 200 years of checkered history.

Nestled in each of the sumptuous bathrooms are freestanding baths for guests to enjoy a luxurious soak in their heritage surrounds. Each bathroom is unique while consistent with the overall style. Hemming achieved this cohesion by selecting from The Water Monopoly bathroom collections – a gamut of styles and sizes all meeting at the pinnacle of exquisite quality.

Shades of green run through the house alongside rich browns in floors and furniture. The first bathroom shows off the Water Monopoly Willow Green Rockwell Bath, framed by Morris & Co Leafy Arbour Borage wallpaper and wall tiles from Academy tiles, as glossy as the freshly-picked camellia leaves. Warmed by the Walter + Co antique mirrors, Woodos timber floors, Perrin & Rowe brass tapware and Trudon candles burning on the Perrin & Rowe bathrack, this room says ‘stay a while’.
