Example Shower Set 2C
This example shower set comprises of a shower rose suspended from above, and controlled by a pressure balanced shower mixer.
The ceiling shower arms provide an overhead shower in any situation you would like. These come in three lengths to accommodate ceiling heights and can also be custom made if required.
Shower roses come in three dimensions with the 200mm being the most popular. The standard rose has a perforated plate and, when calcification is a problem in hard water areas, specify the Easyclean version with rubber holes.
The pressure balanced shower mixer means a consistent flow even if taps are turned on and off elsewhere in the home. The pressure balance valve fitted into the Perrin & Rowe shower mixer is sensitive to changes in incoming water pressure and thus provides safe showering. The pressure balance valve is a sophisticated plumbing device which ensures that the volume of mixed water which leaves the shower mixer is a constant mix of the hot and cold supplies, even if the delivery pressure of one of them changes. In the event of a drop in the hot or cold water supply, the output of the shower will immediately reduce to the pressure of the lowest supply line.
Pressure balancing shower mixers are suited to most systems. A minimum inlet pressure of 0.5 bar/50 kpa is required to achieve adequate performance. Accordingly, some gravity fed systems may not be suitable for pressure balanced shower mixers. The maximum inlet pressure is 5 bar/500 kpa.
Perrin & Rowe shower taps and shower outlets are renowned for their design excellence, durability and the quality of construction. Shower fittings are machined from brass by English craftsmen, hand-polished and coated in a choice of five beautiful finishes – Chrome, Nickel, Pewter, Gold and English Bronze.
